The Global Design Future Network 2023
Symposium & Workshop The Global Design Futures Network 2023 Symposium & Workshop (GDFN 2023) will be held by the School of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University cooperated with the Department of Design at Politecnico di Milano and the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University on November 16th ~ 19th at Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center at UID Bali Campus, Kura Kura Bali, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.
The theme of this event is "Building a Consensus Community and Envisioning the Futurescape", which includes keynotes, workshops, seminars, paper presentations, design futures awards and exhibitions. Through various forms of value co-creation, promote cross-interdisciplinary dialogue between design and futures studies for integrating futures thinking into design education and practice.
GDFN is a memorandum of cooperation signed in May 2023 by the Academy of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University, the Department of Design at Politecnico di Milano, and the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University. The aim is to establish a global design futures learning platform and community, promote the emerging between design and futures studies, and provide frontier methods and tools to address global challenges.
